Some of our staff is qualified to assist with homework or are certified teachers that can professionally tutor your child/student.
Our employees all meet the highest standards in qualifications including: minimum of 18 years old, CPR instruction, a national criminal background check, a sex offender background check, references, health and safety training.
Sitters on Standby has an in-depth interview process to ensure a comfortable match for your unique needs. To ensure this comfortable match, a Sitters on Standby representative will come to your home and meet your family and assess your specific childcare needs. Following the assessment, we will custom fit a suitable candidate for you to personally interview. The professional childcare candidate will come to your home and meet your family and gain information about your family's specific childcare needs. If you feel this interview has gone well and the professional childcare provider would be a good "match" for your family, we will then set up your scheduling to fill your hours of service needed. Whether you need someone for an occasional day or evening, or require full time service we have a fit for your family. Our clients pay Sitters on Standby, Inc. directly. This alleviates any payment concerns related to your childcare provider. A monthly invoice will be sent to you. Keep in mind any childcare is tax deductible.
